As part of a national infrastructure project, a pair of tunnels approximately 400 meters each were constructed as part of a regional transportation upgrade.
Works included excavation, lining, shotcrete and support works carried out under complex terrain conditions and to a high level of engineering precision. The project was designed to improve traffic flow, shorten travel times and ensure efficient and safe transportation connectivity between communities in the region.
