As part of the general agreement tender for the Red Line Light Rail, advanced infrastructure works were carried out along the rail route in Bat Yam.
Works included underground, electrical and lighting infrastructure along the light rail route in the area of Yoseftal–Eli Cohen station, adjacent to the Ayalon highways.
Commissioned by NETA – Metropolitan Mass Transit System, the project forms a central part of the new public transportation network of the Dan Metropolitan Area, connecting Bat Yam to the heart of the metropolis at the pace of a city in renewal.
